Frequently Asked Questions

Are deposits at VeloBank safe?

Yes. VeloBank is supervised by KNF and is a BFG member, which guarantees deposits up to EUR 100,000 per customer. The bank was also created under the auspices of BFG itself. All deposits of former Getin Noble Bank customers were and are fully protected.

Yes — during the restructuring, all retail customers of Getin Noble Bank were automatically transferred to VeloBank together with their accounts, deposits and savings. Account numbers remained the same and service continued without interruption.

What loans does VeloBank offer?

VeloBank offers cash, consolidation and mortgage loans. Cash loan APR is competitive and the bank regularly runs promotions. Mortgages are available in variable and temporarily fixed rate variants.

What are VeloBank savings account rates?

VeloBank often offers savings accounts with promotional rates for new money — among the highest on the market. Current rates are in our savings account ranking or directly on velobank.pl.

How do I open a VeloBank account online?

Does VeloBank have a good mobile app?

The VeloBank mobile app is functional and supports all basic operations, including BLIK, transfers and contactless payments. It is still being developed and not yet on par with segment leaders (mBank, Santander), but the bank is actively investing in it.
