Match the right loan for your situation

The kreddo.pl matcher shows, in 5 questions, what type of financial product is best for you: payday, instalment, cash, consolidation, mortgage, or loan for those with negative BIK. The algorithm works locally in your browser — we don’t collect personal data or send answers to partners. The result shows typical RRSO, amount and term range, with legal warnings.

Over 40 financial-product types for consumers exist in Poland — from payday loans at 900% RRSO to mortgages at 7%. The wrong choice can cost tens of thousands. This quiz saves you hours of reading: 5 simple questions, then directly to the ranking of products matching your situation.

How the algorithm works

The kreddo.pl matcher uses a decision tree based on 5 parameters. Priority order matches the filters Polish banks apply in real credit processes:

  1. BIK/KRD history — the most important filter. With active delays, 90% of banks refuse automatically. The algorithm then directs you to non-bank specialists or debt-restructuring information.
  2. Loan purpose — determines product type. Property purchase = only mortgage. Car = car loan (cheaper than cash due to collateral). Urgent expense = payday. Several debts = consolidation.
  3. Amount — limits available products. Anti-Usury Act caps payday costs, so payday doesn\'t work above 3,000 PLN. Consumer loans up to 255,550 PLN are governed by the Consumer Credit Act.
  4. Repayment term — affects total cost. Some products have fixed terms: payday 15–65 days, mortgage min 5 years, consumer leasing 2–5 years.
  5. Income source — creditworthiness filter. Permanent employment = max capacity. B2B needs 12–24 months. Civil contract often excludes banks. No income = closes legal options.

Tool limitations

The matcher uses 5 parameters — minimum, not a full analysis. It doesn\'t account for: additional income sources, household size (affects cost-of-living in DSTI), existing obligations beyond "active KRD/BIK entries", properties owned (could enable cheaper mortgage-backed loan), B2B tenure under 12 months.

The matcher recommendation is a starting point, not a final decision. For large amounts (mortgage, consolidation over 50k PLN) consult a licensed loan advisor.

People also ask

Can I get a loan without creditworthiness?

Not at a bank — the Consumer Credit Act requires Polish banks to assess creditworthiness before every decision. Licensed lenders also must assess, but their models are more flexible (civil contracts, undocumented income, no BIK history). "Loan without creditworthiness" as a concept is not legal — if an offer advertises that, it likely operates outside the law.

What's the difference between a cash loan and a regular loan in Poland?

A "cash loan" is a product only banks can offer (legal definition: Banking Law, art. 69) — strict formal requirements, lower cost, stronger consumer protection. A "loan" is broader — banks, licensed lenders, private persons. For consumers: loans usually faster but more expensive.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does kreddo.pl's loan matcher work?

The tool asks 5 questions about your purpose, amount, term, income source and BIK history. Based on that it suggests the most suitable product type (payday, instalment, cash loan, consolidation, mortgage) and shows the typical RRSO, amount and term range. The algorithm does NOT send data to banks — all logic runs in your browser.

Do I need to provide personal data?

No. The matcher collects no name, address, PESEL or other personal data. All answers are anonymous and processed locally in your browser — nothing goes to any server or partner.

Is the recommendation a loan application?

No. The recommendation is educational information indicating the product type likely to fit your situation. Clicking the CTA takes you to a ranking of matching products, but the actual application is made directly at the bank or lender — not through kreddo.pl.

What if none of the options fit me?

The matcher uses 5 parameters — not every nuance. If your case is atypical (pledged loan, consumer leasing, loan for a foreigner), check our Knowledge Base or email kontakt@kreddo.pl.

Why does the matcher use BIK?

Credit history in BIK is the first filter every bank and licensed lender applies. With active delays in BIK, 90% of banks refuse automatically — regardless of income. So the matcher directs those with negative history to specialised non-bank lenders or debt-restructuring paths.

Does kreddo.pl earn on this tool?

Yes — kreddo.pl operates via affiliate partnerships. However, the matcher doesn't promote a specific partner: it recommends a product TYPE, and the ranking is sorted by objective parameters (RRSO, availability, process time) independent of affiliate rates.
